Course Title: AODC
Course Length: 21 Credit Hours.

Course Scope: Enables personnel to perform duties as an action officer in order to acquire basic staff and communication skills at any level of an organization. The course consists of one IMI course containing twelve sub-courses. The lessons cover management techniques and communication skills including preparing documents for staffing, meetings and interviews, problem solving, writing, coordinating, briefings, and ethics. The appendices are job aids for preparing documents, managing time, and creating ideas.

The Network Management Technician Warrant Officer Advanced Course (WOAC) is the third level of WOES and a skill level 2 course (MEL Code 6).  After completing the WOBC, Active Component (AC), Reserve Component (RC), and National Guard (RC/NG) Soldiers may attend the three-phase resident MOS 255N WOAC. The primary focus of WOAC is to provide progressive network management skills required by the Warrant Officer to fulfill network management supervisory and staff positions in support of the functionality and interoperability of the Army’s communication and data networks.  CW2s with 1year time-in-grade are eligible to attend. Warrant Officers will attend their MOS WOAC no later than one year after promotion to CW3. CW2s assigned to CW3 positions will attend their MOS WOAC prior to assignment. Total course length of the three phases is 17 weeks and 4 days.

A capstone training event is conducted at academic course completion to evaluate students' ability to perform MOS skill level critical tasks in a field training environment.
