MSG Vernell Hall

Master Sergeant Vernell Hall is a native of was Shelby, Mississippi. He enlisted in the United States Army upon graduating from high school in 1996 and attended Basic Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky. He also completed AIT in Pensacola, Florida. Master Sergeant Hall has served in a variety of leadership positions. His military assignments include USA Combat Maneuver TRN, Hohenfels, Germany where he served as a Combat Documentation Specialist, Bravo Company in the Law Enforcement Command Fort Knox, Kentucky where he served as a team leader, The 55th Signal Company (Combat Camera) in Fort Meade Maryland where he served as a Team Leader, Squad Leader, and Platoon Sergeant. While assigned to Combat Camera he deployed twice to Afghanistan. He was selected for Drill Sergeant Duty and served as a basic training Drill Sergeant for 2/60th INF Battalion Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He was then selected by the Commandant of USADSS at Fort Jackson, South Carolina to serve as a Senior Drill Sergeant Leader/Platoon Sergeant. Upon completion of Drill Sergeant Duty, he was nominated and served as the Senior Career Advisor for 25Z, 25V, 25R, and 25M at Human Resource Command (HRC) Fort Knox, KY. He then was reassigned to serve as the First Sergeant of 55th Signal Company (Combat Camera), Fort Meade, MD. He is currently fulfilling the duties as the Branch Chief at the Signal Corps Regimental Noncommisioned Officer Academy Detachment, Fort Meade, MD.

Master Sergeant Hall is a graduate of Primary Leadership Development Course (PLDC), Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course (BNCOC), Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course (ANCOC, Airborne School, Visual Information Management, Drill Sergeant School, Total Army Instructor Training Course, ALMC Small Group Instructor, Combative Level I, and Combative Level II.

Master Sergeant Hall awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (4), Joint Service Commendation Medal (2), Army Commendation Medal (2), Army Achievement Medal (5), Good Conduct Medal (5), Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and NCO Professional Development Ribbon with Numeral 3, Army Service Ribbon, and Overseas Service Ribbon. Unit Citations include the Valorous Unit Award, and the Meritorious Unit Commendation. He is also authorized to wear the Parachutist Badge, Driver Badge, and the Drill Sergeant Badge.

Master Sergeant Hall is married to Candace Hall, and has two children, Xzayvion Williams and Zharia Hall .

Welcome to the Signal Corps Regimental Non-Comissioned Officer Academy Detachment at Fort George G. Meade, MD.

All personnel reporting for SLC/ALC after duty hours, report to Abrams Hall for Lodging assignment. Contact your SGL for further instructions.

An official height and weight screening will be administered within 72 hours of arrival.

Return flights should not be scheduled prior to 1700 on Graduation Day.
