Reporting Procedures for 11th Signal Brigade

11th Signal Brigade (57th ESB and 62nd ESB)

Fort Hood, Texas

    1. 1) All Soldiers arriving at Fort Hood must report/in-process at the Copeland Soldiers Service Center, Bldg. 18010 at the intersection of T.J. Mills Blvd. (primary road from the Main Gate) and Battalion Ave. The Copeland Center is open 24 hours daily. There the Soldier’s DA 31 (Leave Form) will be signed by a lobby representative and be given instructions for in-processing on post (Soldiers do not report to the 57th ESB or 62nd ESB until they have completed Copland Center in-processing).
    2. 2) The year-round duty uniform for most soldiers at Fort Hood is the Army Combat Uniform (ACU). When reporting during duty hours, you may do so in either ACUs, the Class A or B uniform. After duty hours, you may report in civilian clothes.
    3. 3) Once post in-processing has been completed and Soldier has a stamped approved order from III Corps, the Soldier will be released to their unit. E6’s and below will be picked up by the unit’s S1 representative. E7’s and above will report directly to the battalion headquarter (Bldg. 39048) located at the intersection of Support Ave. and 57th Street.
    4. 4) Battalion Staff Duty phone number is (254) 287-3997 for both 57th ESB and 62nd ESB.

Directions


      • You will approach Fort Hood on US-190E

      • Take exit marked TJ Mills Blvd Bernie Beck Main gate.

      • Take your first left onto Tank Destroyer Blvd.

      • Take the first right onto 58th Street.

      • Turn left onto Support Ave.

      • Take a left onto 161st St and the Headquarters (Bldg. 39048) parking will be on your left.

Reporting Procedures for the 40th ESB

40th Expeditionary Signal Battalion

Fort Huachuca, Arizona

      During duty hours

      All Soldiers will report to the BN S1 for processing @ 0900, w/orders. The BN S1 will then set up appointments and begin the in-processing procedures.


      After duty hours

      Report to the 40th ESB Staff Duty (SD) office Building 52101, (520) 533-0523. Staff Duty will receive a copy of the Soldiers Orders, Sign the Soldiers DA-31 (SD will not take any copies of the SM leave form).


      • a. All married Soldiers, Soldiers with dependants, and SSG and above will be directed to Lodging Building 43083 for temporary lodging.

      • b. Single/dependant-free Soldiers SGT and below be given a transient room in building 52204 (NEALIS Barracks). The Staff Duty NCO will clear all Transient rooms on the first duty day following the Soldier Member (SM)’s arrival at 0700. Ensuring that all personal items are removed, linen turned into the Barracks Manager, the key is retrieved and the room is clean. The SM will then report to the Barracks Manager at 0730 (on the first duty day following arrival) in building 52136 to receive a new room assignment.

      The Welcome Center is your first stop upon arrival at Fort Bliss. A goal of the Welcome Center is to immediately link you with your unit sponsor and in-process you into our TEAM Bliss family. The Welcome Center is open 24/7/365 and is currently located in BLDG 505, Pershing Road (please see map below for directions). 86th ESB is located on Biggs Airfield, Bldg. 21100, Medic Ave.
